The new Ecoforest heat pump ecoGEO+ LITE 1-6 PRO offers all the advantages and differentiating features of Ecoforest in a compact design that integrates all services in a single volume. This allows the installation space to be reduced to a minimum without sacrificing Ecoforest’s unique features and benefits.
Compact Installations
Just 59 cm wide, 80 cm high and 56 cm deep, the ecoGEO+ LITE 1-6 PRO features Inverter technology and the use of R290 natural refrigerant. In addition, it incorporates active cooling, circulator pumps and expansion vessel in the same unit. This allows for small installations without sacrificing Ecoforest’s exclusive features and benefits.
Thanks to its compact design and low noise level, the heat pump can be seamlessly integrated into kitchen cabinets, functioning like a standard appliance. The installation company only needs to ensure front access for maintenance.
Commitment to the future: R290
The natural refrigerant R290 is key to Ecoforest’s commitment to the future. This refrigerant has a 700 times lower impact on global warming (GWP) compared to synthetic refrigerants, which is why it has been consolidated as the European Union’s commitment to the future. This new launch expands the Ecoforest catalogue with natural refrigerant R290.
Its operation with R290 makes it ideal for renovations, as the supply temperatures above 70ºC make it compatible with traditional radiators.
Optimal solution for multi-family buildings
In addition to occupying the minimum available space, the ecoGEO+ LITE 1-6 PRO heat pumps are compatible with ground-source, air-source and hybrid collection systems. This makes them ideal for installation in multi-family buildings. These pumps are capable of providing heating, domestic hot water (DHW) and cooling, all in an ultra-compact installation.
Hybridisation with photovoltaics
In addition, the ecoGEO+ LITE 1-6 PRO heat pump achieves the best performance with hybridisation with photovoltaics. The equipment includes the energy manager as standard, which offers the unique control capabilities of the Ecoforest software. Thanks to this technology, the heat pump offers exceptional hybridisation with photovoltaic energy: the heat pump consumes the energy from the photovoltaic surplus as a priority. The equipment accumulates this surplus, which is stored in the form of thermal energy, bringing the home closer to self-consumption while meeting heating, cooling, or DHW.
With the incorporation of this new model, Ecoforest’s range of ground-source energy with R290 consists of the following equipment:
Ecoforest
The family company Ecoforest started its activity in 1959. In 1992 they became the first European manufacturer of pellet stoves. Since then, it has positioned itself as a market leader in the manufacture of renewable HVAC equipment with a catalogue consisting of pellet stoves and boilers, and air-source and ground-source heat pumps.
In 2020, it launched the first ground-source heat pump with R290 suitable for indoor installation, the ecoGEO+ 1-6 PRO. In 2023, it completed the ground-source range with R290 with the new ecoGEO+ 2-10 PRO and ecoGEO+ 4-16 PRO units. The factory located in Nigrán (Spain) employs more than 200 people and has its own R&D department.
