Ecoforest joins Consumo Cero. Zero Consumption: an alliance for nearly zero energy consumption
Consumo Cero is a group of companies committed to sustainable and efficient construction, which promotes zero energy consumption buildings in Spain. Companies specialising in Siber mechanical ventilation, Ecoforest heat pumps, Riwega waterproofing and ROCKWOOL insulation have joined forces to achieve a common goal: to train, advise and promote the construction of Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) in order to stimulate and activate the market, and contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to address major global challenges.

On 27 November, Consumo Cero is organising an exclusive conference for professionals in the construction sector (architects, technical architects, engineers, etc.) to present how new construction systems are redefining energy efficiency in social housing with the example of ‘Social housing without compromises: 58 subsidised housing units towards Zero Consumption’, presented by Daniel Galar Irurre, urban architect at GVG Estudio.
Daniel will be accompanied by some of the member companies of Consumo Cero, Siber, Rockwool, Ecoforest and Riwega, sharing technical solutions and real-life lessons learned from high energy efficiency projects.
