It is distributed on two floors and has 312 m2.

It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and stands out for having been built with prefabricated modules, wood and the passivhaus standard, which allows almost zero energy consumption.

Inside the house there are hardly any sounds from the outside and it is so perfectly insulated that its interior temperature is constant and oscillates between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius.

Most interesting of all, the house has been able to generate 10% of the energy it has consumed.

And what is the energy demand for heating and cooling? 10kWh/m2.

The consumption of a similar house without sustainable air conditioning systems would be between 80 and 120 kWh/m². So you are saving 90% energy.

In addition, it has a home automation system and a double-flow mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery, typical of the passivhaus standard.

And what is it made of?

The structure is made of wood, the insulation is made of wood fiber, the carpentry is made of wood, the pavements are made of wood… All sustainable materials and committed to the environment and, in addition, heating, cooling and hot water (DHW) is generated by aerothermal equipment.

If you want to make your home more sustainable, you don’t have to build it from scratch or study where the sun rises and sets to place windows and doors.

And finally, biomass uses organic materials such as wood and agricultural residues, converting them into energy, this allows you to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and, in addition, many governments offer incentives for the installation of biomass systems, making it economically attractive.
