Ecoforest joins Acluxega

Since manufacturing its first ground source heat pump in 2012, Ecoforest has distinguished itself as an innovative manufacturer, committed to pioneering technologies such as HTR and R290 in ground-source heat pumps. Its recent membership in the Galician Geothermal Cluster (ACLUXEGA) will enable the company to contribute to the development of geothermal resources in Galicia.

ACLUXEGA serves as a meeting point for promoting an energy transition based on geothermal energy, a sustainable solution with a low environmental impact. The cluster is particularly focused on raising awareness of technologies such as ground-source heat pumps, which are used for heating, cooling, and domestic hot water production in homes, public buildings, and industrial facilities.

One of ACLUXEGA’s most significant strengths is its ability to connect installation companies, engineering firms, manufacturers, universities, and public administrations. Ecoforest’s membership will strengthen its collaboration with other stakeholders across the energy value chain, helping to advance energy efficiency, create skilled employment opportunities, and promote more sustainable construction models.

According to Iago Bastos, Business Development Director for Ecoforest Heat Pumps, the company welcomes the opportunity to “collaborate with the Galician geothermal sector, whether installers, engineering firms, drilling companies, or universities, in harnessing the considerable geothermal potential of the region.”
