We present you one of the first installations made by our partner in Australia (Highlands GeoExchange Pty Ltd), the installation is located in Bowral (NSW) is a new building in which it has been decided to install an HVAC system using ground source heat pump. Nowadays we see more and more homeowners getting efficient HVAC systems such as aerothermal and geothermal systems for new constructions and renovations.
This installation has a gorund source heat pump (ecoGEO Basic 5-22KW), along with a 315 litre tank for domestic hot water. The collection system is 100% geothermal, thanks to two vertical wells made in the ground. On the other hand, two emission systems have been used depending on whether heating or cooling is produced. In the case of heating, underfloor heating has been installed in four parts of the house, while to produce cooling and support for heating, a central ventilation system of 20kW has been chosen. A pre-installation has also been made for the construction of a spa in the future.
