This system located at Praia Azul in Torres Vedras demonstrates the full potential of the energy manager “E-manager” and its combination with the Ecoforest modulating heat pumps.
A heat pump with 1-9kW inverter technology produces all the heating, cooling and DHW for this 160m² house. Thanks to the E-manager, it is possible to use all the energy generated by the 1500W photovoltaic system, using the surplus electricity to produce thermal energy and store it in a 300L buffer tank.
With the E-manager you can analyse the electrical usage of the house. It allows you to check every month the electricity consumed by the house, the electricity injected into the network, the maximum power consumed, the electricity consumption of the heat pump, the heat production of the heat pump and the percentage of thermal production that was generated by the photovoltaic surplus.

The SPF of the system is 4.6, meaning that for every kW of electricity consumed the heat pump produced 4.6kW of thermal energy. 28% of this energy was produced using only the surplus photovoltaic electricity.
