This is achieved through a combination of materials, technologies and practices that reduce the consumption of energy, water and other resources, <strong>and minimize the generation of waste and polluting emissions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-ast-global-color-5-color has-text-color has-link-color has-text-align-center wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/ecoforest.com\/en\/contact\/\" style=\"border-width:3px;border-radius:0px\"><strong>Do you want a sustainable home?<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which house do we refer to?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When we talk about finding it, we have to take into account several points such as, for example,<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ecoforest.com\/en\/news\/how-to-reduce-your-carbon-footprint-with-sustainable-heating-systems\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/ecoforest.com\/en\/news\/how-to-reduce-your-carbon-footprint-with-sustainable-heating-systems\/\">energy efficiency<\/a><\/strong>, the use of <strong>renewable and recycled materials, waste minimization and integration with the natural environment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"571\" src=\"https:\/\/ecoforest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/casa-mas-sostenible-de-europa-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41480\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecoforest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/casa-mas-sostenible-de-europa-02.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/ecoforest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/casa-mas-sostenible-de-europa-02-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecoforest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/casa-mas-sostenible-de-europa-02-768x439.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The most sustainable house in Europe is in Spain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically, in <strong>Barcelona<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a house with <strong>double Passivhaus <\/strong>Premium certification (<a href=\"https:\/\/passivehouse.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/passivehouse.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Passivhaus Institut<\/strong><\/a>) and <strong>5 VERDE leaves<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/gbce.es\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/gbce.es\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Green Building Council Spain<\/strong><\/a>), the most demanding in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This home is located in <strong>Sant Andreu de la Barca<\/strong> (Barcelona) and <strong>is capable of saving 90% of energy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/ecoforest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/casa-mas-sostenible-de-europa-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41486\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecoforest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/casa-mas-sostenible-de-europa-03.jpg 540w, https:\/\/ecoforest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/casa-mas-sostenible-de-europa-03-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecoforest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/casa-mas-sostenible-de-europa-03-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is distributed on <strong>two floors<\/strong> and has <strong>312 m2.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has <strong>four bedrooms and three bathrooms<\/strong> and stands out for having been built with prefabricated modules, wood and the passivhaus standard, which allows almost zero energy consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside the house there are hardly any sounds from the outside and it is so perfectly insulated that its interior <strong>temperature is constant and oscillates between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most interesting of all, the house has been able to<strong> generate 10% of the energy it has consumed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And what is the energy demand for heating and cooling?
