MCE: Unlocking the Opportunities of R290 Heat Pumps

We will review the current Ecoforest catalogue and all the new products and projects. Ecoforest is working to enlarge the R290 heat pump catalogue, with products both for ground-source and air-source installations. In particular the new models:
- ecoGEO+ 2-10 PRO
- ecoGEO+ 4-16 PRO
Besides, a new air-source model will also enlarge the Ecoforest power range with R290, that currently covers from 1 to 108kW with cascade systems.
Among the advantages of R290:
- A forward-looking refrigerant: the natural refrigerant R290 has a global warming coefficient 700 times lower than that of synthetic refrigerants. As a result, the European Union has chosen natural refrigerants as the path for the future development of the HVAC sector.
- Versatility: high flow temperature up to 70ºC, allowing the replacement of boilers in installations with radiators.
Indoor installation: with a ventilation system that makes them suitable for any boiler room.

Ecoforest – Heat Pumps
In 2012 Ecoforest launched its first geothermal heat pump. Recently, it has launched the largest ground-source or geothermal heat pump range with natural refrigerant R290 and it is the only Spanish heat pumps manufacturer and the most specialised in Inverter technology.
