What’s new?
Ecoforest continues to expand its R290 heat pump range, offering solutions for both ground-source and air-source installations. Our latest models include:
- ecoGEO+ LITE 1-6 PRO – The most compact brine-to-water heat pump, standing at just 80 cm high, perfect for apartments and small homes while maintaining efficiency and advanced technology.
- ecoAIR+ 6-24 PRO – A new air-source R290 heat pump that further extends our power range, now covering 1 kW to 144 kW with cascade systems.
Besides, the year still holds a portfolio of innovations for Ecoforest.
R290: A future-proof refrigerant
Ecoforest is committed to sustainability and efficiency, and R290 refrigerant plays a crucial role in shaping the future of heating and cooling:
- A forward-looking refrigerant: the natural refrigerant R290 has a global warming coefficient 700 times lower than that of synthetic refrigerants. As a result, the European Union has chosen natural refrigerants as the path for the future development of the HVAC sector.
- Versatility: high flow temperature up to 70ºC, allowing the replacement of boilers in installations with radiators.

Ecoforest – Heat Pumps
In 2012, Ecoforest launched its first ground-source heat pump. It is the only Spanish manufacturer of heat pumps and the most specialized in Inverter technology, offering a full range of R290 air-source heat pumps. In 2023, Ecoforest became the first manufacturer to introduce a complete range of domestic ground-source R290 heat pumps designed for indoor installation. In 2024, Ecoforest launched the most compact R290 brine-water heat pump and expanded its R290 air-source heat pump range with a 6-24kW unit.
